Based on a national development plan, Ivory Coast has launched a major investment in its healthcare sector. One of the key initiatives is Project Medical Continuation, which will expand and upgrade 43 clinics across the country - both in urban areas and rural regions.
EIFO is supporting the project with an export loan of EUR 171 million, enabling the construction of 15 new clinics and the upgrade of 28 existing ones that were previously supported by EIFO. The expansion includes new maternity wards, outpatient units, medical equipment, incineration facilities, and wastewater solutions - all of which contribute to improved healthcare for the local population.
