As Poland transforms its energy grid, Danish stakeholders will play a key role. Baltica 2 is a prime example of how Danish technology and financial backing contribute to Europe’s green transition - while also boosting exports and creating jobs.

Baltica 2 is one of the largest offshore wind farms currently under construction in the Baltic Sea. It is being developed by Ørsted and Poland’s state-owned power company PGE. The wind farm will be Poland’s second offshore installation and is a critical step toward the country’s goal of reaching 5.9 GW of installed capacity by 2030.

As a result, the project is not only financially sustainable - it also becomes a catalyst for Danish export.

Danish companies such as Siemens Gamesa, Semco Maritime, and Cadeler are all deeply involved in the project. EIFO’s participation helps secure large orders and strengthens these companies’ future market positions in the region.
